Who issues this policy
1.1This cookie policy is issued by STARECOM ("we", "us"), the operator of starecom.net and the provider of the services described on it.
1.2It explains every cookie and browser storage key this website sets, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to change or withdraw your choice.
What we actually set
2.1The table below is the complete list. If it is not in this table, this site does not set it.

2.2This site sets no analytics, advertising, tracking, social or profiling cookie of any kind. There are no third-party cookies, no advertising pixels, no social media embeds and no tag manager.
2.3All fonts, scripts, styles and images are served from this domain. The site makes no request to any third-party host, so no third party can set storage through it.
Traffic measurement without cookies
3.1Baseline measurement of how much traffic this site receives is aggregate, anonymous and cookieless. It is derived from ordinary web-server request logs, which are described in the Privacy Policy and retained for 90 days.
3.2Because that measurement sets no cookie and reads nothing from your device, it does not require consent under the ePrivacy rules, and it cannot be used to identify or follow you between sites.
3.3If we ever introduce analytics that stores something on your device, it will sit in the Analytics category, it will be off by default, and it will only be set after you have accepted it here. It is not in use today.
Categories, and what each one means
4.1Strictly necessary. The session cookie, the CSRF token and the record of your cookie choice. These are required for the site to work and to be secure, and they cannot be switched off. Under the ePrivacy rules they do not require consent.
4.2Analytics. Off by default and currently unused, as explained in clause 3. Nothing in this category is set before you accept it.
4.3There is no advertising or marketing category, because this site does not do either.
How the consent panel works
5.1The panel appears at the bottom of the page on your first visit. Accept and Reject are presented as identical buttons with the same size, colour and prominence — neither is emphasised over the other, and no box is pre-ticked.
5.2Settings opens the category list, where the Analytics box can be ticked or cleared individually. Rejecting, or simply closing the panel without accepting, leaves nothing in the Analytics category enabled.
5.3The panel is fully operable by keyboard and can be dismissed with the Escape key.
5.4Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which you will be asked again.
How your choice is recorded
6.1The choice itself is stored in your own browser under the key starecom_consent.
6.2We also keep a record on our server so that we can evidence that consent was collected. That record contains a random identifier, a timestamp, the decision, and the policy version — and nothing else.
6.3No IP address, no user agent and no personal identifier is written to the consent record. It cannot be linked back to you.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
7.1Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page. The panel reopens with your current choice shown, and you can change it or withdraw it entirely. A withdrawal takes effect immediately.
7.2You can also clear site data for this domain in your browser settings, which removes the stored choice and everything else this site has saved. The panel will then ask again on your next visit.
7.3Blocking the strictly necessary items in your browser will stop the contact form from working, because the security token depends on the session.
